Mount Louis Station

Light and spacious, this self-contained holiday house is stylishly appointed and well equipped with all the comforts of home, accommodating between 2 and 8 guests it’s a perfect getaway for couples, groups of friends or family holidays.
A stay at Mount Louis offers a cattle station experience where guests can take a tour around the 3,000 acre property with the Station Manager, see the homestead and learn about life on a working station and if lucky enough, get to join a cattle muster.
The Station itself is rich in nature and naturally beautiful, explore the Station and discover the many different eco systems from virgin rainforest with crystal clear creeks to ancient paperbark forests and magnificent mangrove swamps.
Fishing and crabbing can be enjoyed on the Station’s fresh water and salt water tidal creeks, they are also great places for spotting many of the diverse bird species of the region.
There is plenty to do nearby too, explore local bush beaches, spectacular waterfalls and numerous National Parks, visit historical Cooktown or take a day trip out to the Great Barrier Reef.
