Nearby rivers and creeks provide ample opportunity for bushwalking or sighting some of the 160 species of birds that inhabit the area.
Facilities include clean amenities, gas barbeque, recreation hall for indoor activities, tennis and basketball courts. Campfires are permitted, a shop, pub and fuel facilities are nearby, and daily guided tours are available. Pets conditional.
