Coloured Sands
. This is a popular camping
spot, with fabulous views to Cape Bedford,
providing the perfect base from which to

The mesmerising dune formations of the
Coloured Sands are a 300m walk along
the beach.
Driving on the beach is not
encouraged and should only be undertaken
in a 4WD vehicle with extreme caution
at low tide. A permit is required to visit
Coloured Sands
. Day permits will be available
from the Hope Vale Council admin office or
from the beach camp site. Please ensure you
have your own supplies.
