Endeavour River Escape

is a lovely stop on the
Endeavour River and caters for everything
from tents to big rigs. Enjoy fishing, nature,
or simply relax under the star filled night skies.
You will pass
Barrett’s Lagoon
, a permanent
freshwater lagoon partially hidden by floating
waterlily pads, with an abundance of bird life
including the jabiru, Australia’s only member
of the stork family.
Spectacular bluffs and ranges flank the
Endeavour Valley, including
Branigan’s Bluff
and Mount Rose
, an extinct volcano.
For warm farm hospitality in a traditional
homestead, furnished tents, or self contained
units stay at
Alkoomie Cattle Station
, with
safe swimming and horse riding through
breathtaking scenery.

are found at
Endeavour Falls Tourist Park and permission
must be requested from the Tourist Park
for access.
